Field Coordinator, Barbil Unit
Ms. Smrutimayee Deo brings a strong background in administration and community service to her role as a Field Coordinator in the ECCE Project at Barbil, under Kalinga Kusum Foundation.
She holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from IGNOU, which has equipped her with a solid foundation in management, data analysis, and organizational skills.
Smrutimayee has been actively involved in various social activities since her school days. Her deep understanding of the early childhood care sector stems from her firsthand experience in supporting her mother’s work and witnessing the impact of quality education and care on young children in the community.
In her current role, Smrutimayee plays a key part in the successful implementation of early learning initiatives, assisting Anganwadi Centres in achieving ISO certification, and ensuring effective coordination between community members and frontline workers. Her academic background, combined with her hands-on experience in social work, allows her to contribute significantly to the ECCE Project and the promotion of quality early childhood care and education in Barbil.
