Kalinga Kusum Leadership Fellows Program
– It is one of its kind programs designed to enable 12 young graduates and professionals to engage closely with the legislators of Odisha in fulfilling their legislative mandate and at the same time shaping their leadership journey.
– The selected Fellows would provide research inputs to aid in better policy making.
– Through leveraging technology and data driven research, the Fellows will assist the Hon’ble MLAs in enhanced grass root service delivery in their constituencies.
– The Fellows would undertake the opportunity to employ the ‘technology’ and ‘data’ to create better policy decisions and would facilitate data-driven governance and accountability in the legislator’s roles and responsibilities.
- Kalinga Kusum Women Leadership Mission
– We have envisioned a large scale, dedicated initiative for holistic empowerment of women.
– Through this mission, we would be providing the women of Odisha with an opportunity to become community leaders and advocates for equal rights and entitlements, opportunities for development and protection.
– Under this ambitious initiative, we have empowered over 5,000 Women Self Help Group Members in last 2 years in terms of their knowledge and capacity building in the areas of legal literacy, financial literacy, digital literacy, health and hygiene and leadership development through the support of SBI Foundation and Taiwan Foundation for Democracy.
– We are conducting regular workshops on various thematic areas concerning women in collaboration with National Commission for Women (NCW) and State Commission for Women (SCW).
