ORGANIZATION PROFILE

Kalinga Kusum Foundation (KKF) is a leading, award-winning non-profit organization based in Odisha, committed to transforming lives through innovative, community-driven development. Since its inception in 2008, KKF has been addressing systemic challenges across education, health, livelihoods, legal empowerment, and climate action — with a sharp focus on the inclusion of children, youth, women, and tribal populations. Over the years, the foundation has built deep expertise across thematic areas including Child Rights & Protection, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Agroforestry Development, Energy Plantations, Renewable Energy Access, Sustainable Lake Management, Women’s Empowerment, and Tribal Livelihoods. KKF is fully compliant with 12A, 80G, and FCRA regulations, and is registered on the NGO-Darpan Portal of NITI Aayog.

Our work is backed by a team of highly qualified professionals with global experience, and is strengthened through strong partnerships with organizations like UNICEF, SBI Foundation, Tata Trusts, VisionSpring, Oxford University, and various government ministries. Flagship programs include the Child-Friendly Constituency initiative, ISO-certified Anganwadi Centres, SFURTI-supported artisan clusters, large-scale agroforestry and lake rejuvenation projects, non-invasive health screening for tribal populations, and the SHE LEADS program empowering thousands of women with financial, digital, and legal literacy. With presence across some of the most underserved districts in Odisha, KKF continues to drive inclusive development by blending grassroots engagement, policy advocacy, and sustainable innovation.
